Namma Shale Program
Aims to empower students in government schools through the following three ways:
1. Quality education by appointing and supporting teachers on a temporary basis.
2. Organizing extracurricular endeavors to enhance a holistic approach for every student.
3. Developing infrastructure in schools to enhance the environment and ambiance that foster quality learning experience.
India is one of the fastest growing economies and this growth is fueled by the large population of highly qualified manpower. Therefore, the future of India’s growth and the possibility of it becoming an economic super power will be affected by the quality of education provided at our schools. Most private schools would meet the standards. But children studying in majority of the government schools in the cites, slums and villages will miss opportunities as the schools are crippled with poor infrastructure and facilities, insufficient or poor-quality midday meals, inadequate teachers and low quality of teaching.
We Reaching Hand after much study feel strongly that we can step in meet the need and fill this gap. The government has established 45,000 Primary Schools and 3,029 High Schools in the state of Karnataka. The government is doing its best to see that the children studying in these school receive free education; it needs the support of non-governmental agencies to enhance and support its programs to bring it goals to fruition. This collaboration can go a long way in producing scholars from our government school that can further fuel the growth of our nation by providing equal opportunities for those children who are underprivileged and vulnerable in our society.
With our 9 years of ground zero field experience, working with the more than 100 Government schools, we have recognized that the children in these schools are deprived of an infrastructure and ambiance that can bring out the best in them.

I got selected in shot-put and Long jump for HCL Inter-school sports competitions which was held at Hoskote the only reason was with lot of encouragement and motivation of HCL sports camp and my trainer, hope I will give my Best in the upcoming Sports.
Aims are aimed by many but achieved only by some. Everybody has some aim or goal in their life. I too, have one. I want to become the best kabaddi player. I will always work very hard to achieve my goal. I am very thankful to HCL for uplifting me and making a path to achieve my dreams.
My name is Mr. Venkatesh and I work as the head master of Govt High school at Shivanapura, Hosokote. In the whole tenure of my service, the one thing which I observed is that government cannot work and reach to every section of the marginalized society. Organizations like Reaching Hand and HCL foundation came forward and support the government in reaching its goals.
Reaching Hand with the support of HCL has provided the computer trainer in our school. The Organization repaired all the computers and provided infrastructure support. Under the additional academic support, the students were given the exam guides for 10th grade exam going student, which helped them in exam preparation. Not only this, Reaching Hand team was always connected through phone and were always taking feedback about the things.
The students are so happy about the computer and are trying to learn through the practical ways with the help of the trainer. The trainer provided by the Reaching Hand is very good and always provide help to students not only with computer but with other subjects too.
Reaching Hand and HCL foundation gave the students chance on the educational tour and gave the opportunities to students to take part in State and national sports events. They have come to the ground level in reaching to the marginalized society.
I and my whole staff is so thankful to the Reaching Hand and HCL team and hope that Reaching Hand team in future too will provide their support to our school.
