An Integrated School Training Program
SPOORTHI
Started in 2013, Reaching Hand Spoorthi Program focuses on enhancing the quality of education of government schools in Bangalore through innovative and integrated learning methods. It includes infrastructure support also by providing learning equipment, computer labs, Internet facility, skill training, teacher trainings, sports & recreation to the students addressing relevant obstacles etc.
Quality education is the foundation of sustainable development. RH has targeted schemes on teacher training, equitable and quality education combined with creativity and fun learning activities for effective outcomes. RH has adopted 150 Govt. schools under its various projects.

To provide Holistic, Inclusive & Equitable Education to the Government school students across India.
GOAL
To Prepare the young minds to achieve educational success and to face the 21st century with confidence and courage
OBJECTIVES
1.To impart basic computer skills to children and teachers that is otherwise inaccessible to them.
2.To develop life skills to enable them to be good successful citizens

OUTCOMES
- Students have gained basic knowledge in theory and practical in MS word ,Excel, power point, preparing the resume, operating internet connection ,Opening E mail account sending the mail, opening inbox etc. using computer which improved their quality of technical skills.
- 90% of students were imparted acquaintance of using basic MS Word as part of their curriculum.
- 30 % students have acquired basic internet knowledge like example
- Compare to last year enrollment at school has been increased .
- Students are so enthusiastic in attending the computer classes and gaining good computer skills .
- 70% children have developed confidence in using computer knowledge.
- Improved in learning skill among students.
“I am Renuka studying in GHS Kodigehalli school . I am Basically from North Karnataka , which belongs to a very small village .when I joined the computer classes I didn’t have any knowledge about computers because many from North Karnataka are illiterate. Thinking about computer education it’s just a dream for me . when I joined the Kodigehalli school, I never imagined that we‘d be having separate learning room for computers ; I can assume that is in only private schools . Now I am so glad to learn computer basic in my school. Now I and my friends have basic knowledge about MS word , Excel and Power point .Now my vision is to educate North Karnataka with quality education in digital literacy “.
I would like to express my gratitude to KWE and Reaching hand for theirgreat support in providing computer learning facilities in GHS kodigehalli and the qualified trainer to our school, we believe the modern world is dominated by computers and computer knowledge is essential for present generation. Many schools are not having computer facilities in school. We are really very delighted and lucky that 320 students are benefited with computer facility and students are also learning really well. Once again, I would like to thank KWE and Reaching Hand for their continued support.
