Reaching Hand is a registered Charitable Trust started in 1996 to work with vulnerable children, marginalized women & deprived families empowering them to lead a life of hope, self-worth and dignity. It envisions a promising future for all by acting as a catalyst for social change. Empowerment of children, women & families from weaker sections of society through quality education, health care and skill development is the key focus of Reaching Hand

Our Management Team
Reaching Hand is governed by the Board of Trustees. The Trust deed specifies its objectives and powers. Our governing board consists of five members and is directed towards the mission of creating real and lasting changes in the lives of marginalized children and women by initiating specific programs.

MR. T. M. SANTHOSH
President
A Graduate in Economics, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, Master’s in Business Administration, T M Santhosh has got vast experience in administering both Profit and Non-profit organisations for the past 30 years. He started his career in the fields of Accounts and Finance, then moved onto Administration, Management, and Governance. Presently he is owning and leading a growing Business Entity in Bangalore, which manufacture and sale various eco-friendly products.
T M Santhosh started his journey with Reaching Hand from 1996, the year which Reaching Hand birthed. He was the first voluntary staff of the organisation. From then, he walked with the Visionary and Founder of the organisation, Late Mr. V M Samuel for almost 25 years till the founder’s demise. In all ups and downs and the long journey of Reaching Hand, he stood as a strong pillar with the organisation along with another Founding trustee Mr. KT Saju and other trustees. The first 10 years, he worked as a part time voluntary staff and helped in managing the accounts and administration of the organisation. In the year 2006, he became one of the trustees of Reaching Hand and shouldered the responsibility as Treasurer and CFO of the organisation till June 2025.
When he took up the leadership of the organisation as President and CEO, his desire is to walk in the same path his formers walked and take Reaching Hand to a highest place by fulfilling its vision “To empower communities globally, bringing hope of a better tomorrow”.
MR. LUKE NINAN
Secretary
Luke has over 23 years of leadership experience in multinational corporate sector. His expertise lies in Portfolio, Program & Project Management. Luke channels his commitment toward meaningful social impact. His unwavering dedication extends to caring for both underprivileged children and the elderly.

Trustee
Sahsmeeta is a lawyer by profession who currently works as the director of IJM (International Justice Mission).

Raja Manohar is a passionate leader and committed with a deep heart for the poor and marginalized. With years of experience as a coach, mentor, and counsellor, he has guided many through personal and professional growth with empathy and wisdom. His relational approach and genuine care have left a lasting impact.

With a deep passion for social impact and community transformation, He actively leads the organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Late Mr. V.M Samuel
Founder
A Philanthropist, Social Entrepreneur and a visionary. He is well-known for his leadership skills & innovative ideas. He registered this Charitable Trust—Reaching Hand in Bangalore. The organization was founded in the year 1996 with the intention of giving educational grants and scholarships to underprivileged families and other deserving candidates. He lead and served this organisation tirelessly for 25 years to make it what it is today. He had a special heart for children and his dream and vision was to make today’s destitute children, tomorrow’s leaders—he did everything in his might to impact the lives of many destitute children in India and made this vision a reality.
