Greetings from Reaching Hand!
Reaching Hand started out its operations in the year 1996.Initially the main focus was on reaching out to children who were unable to have an education with Scholarships. Today as we stand on the threshold of 2024, we the Trustees wish to appreciate the entire TEAM for all the achievements and appreciation we have had over the years. We owe all the success to all our stakeholders, namely, the donors (Corporates and Individuals), the staff and volunteers of Reaching Hand, and the support of all our well-wishers.
We have come a long way since we began from Scholarships, to New Home (a home for the underprivileged) Light House International school, Namma Shale, Pratishtha, Girls Glory. We continue to fine tune our projects to derive maximum efficiency with limited costs and resources, hence enlarging the possibilities of our outreach.

Our Programs
Don’t Stop running it is keeping children safe in school
Join Us in Empowering Young Lives Since 2006, Reaching Hand has been passionately committed to transforming the lives of underprivileged children through compassion, care, and long-term support. Our key initiatives include “New Home”, a safe and nurturing shelter for 50 girl children, and “Lighthouse House School”, where we provide free, quality education to 185 children from marginalized communities in M. Hosahalli, Budigere Road, Bangalore North.
True to our name, our mission is to reach out to vulnerable children, give them a home, educate them and empower them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
We received the prestigious TCS World 10K Philanthropy Award 2025 from the Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot. All proceeds from this fundraising event are being used for education and child care programs.
